Cards in the Air: Event #2C $200,000 Guaranteed 5:00 PM Session

This is your last chance to buy in on Day 1 and try to qualify for the final day of Event #2 $200,000 Guaranteed Deepstack! $235 will get you 25,000 in tournament chips, and the goal is to make the final 12% of players. If you can't make it out today, you still have a chance to satellite into a Day 2 buy in at 8 PM tonight and noon tomorrow!

Cards in the Air: Event #2C $200,000 Guaranteed 12:00 PM Session

Through two days of qualifying, 91 players have made Day 2 of the $200,000 Guaranteed event at the Legends of Poker. If you haven't taken your shot at this event, you have two more chances today, with the first chance starting now! The cards are now in the air for the first session, and players will have just over two hours to come out and play in this session.

New List of Survivors for Event #2 $200,000 Guaranteed Deepstack

Two days of qualifying are in the books for the first big tournament of the Legends of Poker, and so far, 91 players have moved on to Day 2. Leading the way is James Cavanaugh, who bagged a massive stack of 763,000, which is over 200,000 more than anyone else still in. We've also seen a few players double qualify: Randy Bowie, Barkev Grigorian, Cornel Cimpan, and Nithin Eapen. These four players have each earned $2,000 for their feats, and will be bringing in the bigger of their two stacks to play tomorrow. Today is your last chance to qualify, with sessions at noon and 5 PM today. Registration is open for over two hours in each flight, so come on out and spend your Thursday at The Bicycle Casino!

Breaking Down the Numbers: Event #2B 5:00 PM Session

The fourth qualifying session for Event #2 turned out to be the biggest yet, as a whopping 222 players came out to try and turn their $235 into the projected first place prize of at least $50,000! Of those players, the final three tables will be moving on to Day 2, as 27 tickets will be claimed tonight. If you missed out on the action today, you will have two more chances tomorrow, with starting flights kicking off at 12 and 5 PM just like today. Breaking Down the Numbers: Event #2B 12:00 PM Session

We had a grand total of 176 players come out for the third starting flight of Event #2 $200,000 Guaranteed Deepstack! That means that the final 21 players will be joining the 43 players who moved on from yesterday on Friday for the Day 2 restart. Be sure to come back tomorrow morning to get a fresh list of Day 2 survivors as we inch closed to the highly anticipated restart on Friday night!

Yesterday, 43 players were able to punch a ticket to Day 2 of the first big guaranteed event of the Legends of Poker. Now a new batch of players are at The Bicycle Casino to take their shot at the coveted Day 2 ticket! The cards are now in the air for the first session, and players will have just over two hours to come out and play in this session.

The first day of qualifying for Event #2 $200,000 Guaranteed Deepstack is in the books, and 43 players were able to secure a Day 2 ticket! Leading the way is Griogrian Barkev, who bagged up a whopping 551,000 in chips! With the blinds being rolled back to 2500-5000, Barkev will be bringing 110 big blinds into play on Friday. Breaking Down the Numbers: Event #2A 5:00 PM Session

This afternoon saw 184 players come out, and the 5 PM session nearly matched that total, as 171 players put down $235 to complete the first day of full play here at the Legends of Poker! The final 21 will move on to Day 2, meaning that a total of 43 players will be moving on through the two flights.

If you missed out on your chance to qualify today, you still have two more shots tomorrow and Thursday, so don't miss out on any of the action!

The first qualifying session for Event #2 $200,000 Guaranteed Deepstack is officially closed, but you have another chance to qualify right now, as the 5:00 PM sessions is kicking off! This flight has the same structure as this morning: $235 gets you 25,000 in chips, and the final 12% will be making Day 2 on Friday night! Breaking Down the Numbers: Event #2A 12:00 PM Flight

We had a total of 184 players come for the first flight of Event #2 $200,000 Guaranteed! With the top 12% moving on to Day 2, that means that the final 22 players will be in the money, and will punch a ticket to Day 2 on Friday. Final Winners Report of Event #1 $75 Friends of the Bike!

Last night saw an incredible 568 people come out to the opening event at the WPT Legends of Poker! This event was a special $75 Friends of the Bike tournament, where players had an optional $50 add-on. The prize pool was just under $50,000, and it was spread out amongst the final 64 players. In the end, Virej Vartaneian ended up on the top of a six way deal, where he earned first place, as well as $7,970! Cards in the Air: $75 Friends of the Bike $25,000 Guaranteed


The 2014 WPT Legends of Poker is officially underway here at The Bicycle Casino! The first event is the $75 special tournament, Friends of the Bike! Players get 4,000 in chips to start, and everyone has an optional $50 add-on for 5,000 in chips. If you LIKE us on facebook, you will get an additional 2,000!

Registration will be open until 7:15 local time, so come on down to The Bicycle Casino and take your shot at the first WPT Legends title!

Event #21 $500,000 Est Final Results: Anonymous Tops 8-Way Deal


Play went until sunrise last night, where the final eight players all agreed to a chip chop. The player who finished with the lion's share was Anonymous, a regular on the tournament scene and cash games at The Bicycle Casino.  He ended up walking away with just over $78,000, locking up nearly second place money with eight players left. Other notables on the LA poker scene who took part in the chop were Patrick Karschamroon, Christopher Tolone, and Chelsea Proctor. Check out the details for the chop below, and congratulations to all the players who cashed in the event.

The Final Eight Players Have Agreed to a Deal


The final eight players have decided to make a chip chop, ending a long night of poker here at The Bicycle Casino! Our winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, who as we mentioned earlier has been at the top of the counts for most of the night, will be declared the winner, taking home $78,458, the top prize after the chip chop. Well known LA pro Patrick Karschamroon took third ($60,720), and Christopher Tolone has kept his incredible 2014 going, making another final table, finishing 7th in the chop for $26,440. After John Hulett bubbled the official final table, we lost Denny Tran. He was busted by anonymous, who has been one of the top three stacks for the last few hours. Tran will walk away with $8,000 for his showing tonight.

The eliminations are slowing down just a bit, as we now have less than five full tables left. Soi Nguyen still has a huge stack of over five million, but he has been eclipse by Anonymous, known as "Hero" by many in the LA poker community. He has amassed a hefty stack of 6.8 million, good enough to have everyone else covered by at least a million.
