WSOPC Event #12 Main Event Day 1B End of Day Results

That does it for us tonight at The Bicycle Casino! We had 244 players enter the doors of the Commerce Casino with a dream of being the next WSOP Circuit Main Event champion, and at the end of the night, only 43 have punched their ticket to Day 2. Amongst the players we lost included defending champion Baptiste Chavaillaz, who was also eliminated on Day 1A. That means that there will indeed be a new champion in this event, and right now, Kody Muir (pictured below) is in the early poll position with 266,000 in chips. Some other notables that advanced yesterday included Inhpounh Vongvone (172,000), Tim West (153,000), Susie Zhao (83,000), and Cody Shedd (69,000). Below you can find a complete list of players who have moved on, both from Day 1A and 1B. And be sure to stay tuned all day tomorrow for more photos and updated from Day 1C!

King-Jack No Good for Gorman

Brian Gorman has had a solid series so far, cashing in three events and making two final tables. He surely had hoped to add a third final table to his tally in this event, but he will have to try again tomorrow, as he has just been eliminated.

Gorman three bet all in for 6,000 when faced with a raise to 600 and a call, and the original caller decided to call the shove from Gorman with [Ah][5h]. He was ahead of the [Ks][Jd] of Gorman, and kept that lead throughout the runout of [6h][4s][3c][8h][2h].  Gormanwill have a chance to fire his second bullet tomorrow.
