We had a total of 156 players come out today, and 108 were able to make it long enough for tonight's dinner break. Many of them are still in the room enjoying the dinner buffet being provided by The Bicycle Casino, and we have a few updates for you guys about the field.
Leading the way right now is 2013 WSOP Bracelet winner Joshua Pollack, who is up to 115,000. He won a huge pot just before dinner break, when he put his opponent all-in on a 832 two diamond flop. His opponent called with pocket tens, while Pollack was drawing very live with 85 of diamonds. The turn was a blank, but the nine of diamonds came on the river, giving him a winning flush.
Not far behind is Bobby Suer, who is up to 110,000. At the moment, they are the only players in the six-figures club. Some other players who are sitting on good stacks are Danny Illingworth, Scott Clements, Garrett Greer, Mike Sexton, and Chris Moorman.
Some of the causalities so far include Joseph Cheong, Gavin Griffin, Alex Masek, and former champions Josh Hale and Andy Frankenberger. Cards will be back in the air at 8:15, so stay tuned for more updates throughout the night!
