Craig Chait dropped by the main event during a break and told us he found his own final table and here he is currently chip leader in the Omaha 8 tournament.

Congrats to Edwin Pairavi winner of Card Player Main Event at The Bicycle Hotel & Casino for 1st place of $120,685.

Winner picture without the winner, Edwin requested to not be in any pictures.

Edwin was sharing with us that at one point around mid Day2 he was down to 7,000 chips when the blinds were 2,500/5,000 ante 500, he goes all in blind and picks up AA and at from that point he has just collected chips and ends up with all of them.

Edwin also shared that this is the third time he plays poker this year, he had previously only played Legends Of Poker here at The Bike and WSOP Main Event.

Day1A of Card Player Main Event drew a total of 108 entries, with currently at the end of level 10 59 players remaining.

We're scheduled to play down to 25% of the starting field today before the remaining players bag and tag.

There will be three Day1 starting flights, today, Sunday and Monday, with a single re-entry per flight.
Day2 direct buy-in is available with a buy-in of $4,300 with registration open until start of Day2 - Tuesday 1:00pm - No late registration.

Day1A had two flights yesterday with a total of 30 players advanced to Day2, return list posted below.

There will be two new flights running at The Bike today.

SCPC Day2

SoCal Poker Championships Day2 has been played for 12 levels and that concludes Day2, the final 29 players wrap it up and bag and tag and will return for Day3 at 1:00pm tomorrow, play will resume starting at level 13 with blinds 25,000/50,000 5,000 ante and we will play down to final 10 players who will get $10,000 each and return for Day4 in december.

Remaining players has locked up a min cash of $3,260, Day1 players has already made a great profit on their investment and Day2 direct buy-in players need to survive to next pay jump to make a profit but everyone is aiming for that $500,000 Guaranteed first place and the greatest trophy in poker - Mercedes Benz C-Class.
