By the Numbers: Third Flight of the Day

The third and final starting session of the day drew 150 players. That means that the top 15 players will all lock up at least $250, but only the final 11 will be punching a pivotal Day 2 ticket on the first day of qualifying.

Tomorrow the schedule is a carbon copy of the schedule today. We will have $85 flights starting up at 11:30 AM and 4 PM, and a $240 session at 2 PM. For the $85, the top 10% will be cashing, but only the final 7% will be making the finals, while in the $240, the top 10% will advance.

Registration for all three flights will be open for three hours, and re-entry is allowed in that time frame as well. Good luck all!

Just Two Tables Remain in the Opening Flight

We are quickly down to the final 14 players in this opening $85 flight, but there is still work to do. Four of these players will walk home empty handed, and only the final 11 will be accomplishing their goals of claiming one of the first Day 2 finals tickets in this event.

By the Numbers: 2 PM Session

The first $240 installment of this $500,000 Guaranteed Event drew a total of 77 players, meaning that the top 8 players will be moving on to the finals in two weeks. There will be two more of these $240 flights this weekend, starting up at the same time, 2 PM, Saturday and Sunday.

The third and final starting flight of the opening day of this $500,000 Guaranteed Event has just kicked off here in the tournament room. We are going back to the $85 buy-in figure for this one, and that means while the top 10% will be cashing, only the final 7% will be bagging up a stack to come back with for the finals.

By the Numbers: Opening Flight of the $500,000 Guaranteed Event

The first flight of this massive $500,000 Guaranteed Event drew a total of 144 players. That means that the top 14 players will all be locking up at least $250, with the top 10 players earning $400, and moving on to the finals.

Field Update on the First $240 Break

The 51 players who are in the $240 session are taking their first break of the day. Registration for that flight will be open until 5 PM. Remember that for this one, the top 10% will be bagging up and moving on to the finals in two weeks to play for a first place prize of around $100,000.

Time for the $240 Flight

We are upping the buy-in for this second $500,000 Guaranteed flight of the day. For this one, the buy-in is $240, but unlike the opening flight, where only the top 7% advance, the final 10% will be moving on from this flight. Registration will be open until 5 PM, so come on out and beat the Friday rush hour traffic with us!

We are 90 minutes into the first of many starting flights for this $500,000 Guaranteed Event, and so far, we have 97 entries. Registration will be open until 2:30 PM, but if that is too early for you, we have another $85 session starting up at 4 PM. Good luck all!

It's time to kick off the Main Event here at the 2017 Summer Series, the $500,000 Guaranteed Event. The buy-in for this morning's flight is a mere $85, and first place for this tournament should be at least $100,000. What incredible value!
