Cards in the Air: $400 Satellite

The first of two $400 satellites for some discounted Day 2 seats in this $500,000 Guaranteed Event has just started up. At least three players will be earning the stack of 200,000 in play tomorrow.

Registration for this satellite will be open until just after 9 PM, so come on down and try to earn one of the last Day 2 tickets available for tomorrow's finals!

Day 1 Qualifying Is Officially Closed

The final starting session of this massive $500,000 Guaranteed Event has closed it's registration doors. It drew a massive crowd of 278 players, meaning the top 28 will be cashing, and the final 19 will be moving on to the finals.

With the Day 1 flights in the books, the prizepool is currently at $628,000. That number will only be growing of course, as we still have two $400 satellites to the Day 2 buy-in, and well as of course all of the separate Day 2 buy-ins that start tomorrow at 4 PM. Thanks to everyone who came out to make this Summer Series finale a huge hit!

1-19th. Advance to Day 2 +$400
20-28th. $250

First Flight in the Money

Hand-for-hand play was not needed in the opening flight of the day, as two players were knocked out on quick succession. The final 23 players have all locked up $250, but they all want to ensure that they make the final 16 spots in order to lock up their Day 2 ticket!

What's on Tap: Day 2 Finals of the $500,000 Guaranteed Event

Tomorrow is the eagerly awaited Day 2 finals of the $500,000 Guaranteed Event. That will be starting up at 4 PM, but there is action before that here in the tournament room. At 11:30 AM, it will be the last chance for you to make Day 2 for anything short of $1,900, as the $400 Turbo satellite will be running. At least one Day 2 seat will be handed out then, though we fully expect there to be more than one handed out.

We will be here all night tomorrow to bring you live updates from this finals, as we find out who will walk away with over $100,000!

Details on the Day 2 Buy-in Tomorrow

Tomorrow is one of the most exciting days of the year here at the Bicycle Casino, as it will be Day 2 of our 2017 Summer Series Main Event! If you haven't managed to weave your way through the Day 1 starting flights, you still have a chance to come in tomorrow and take your seat. All it will cost you is $1,900 in this special Quantum Event.

Players who opt to do this will be handed an average stack of 200,000. The blinds will be rolled back to 1,500-3,000, so you will have a massive 66 big blinds to start with. This option will be available until the end of the first break, or until about 5:40 PM.

By the Numbers: Final $240 Session

The last $240 session here in this $500,000 Guaranteed Event was one of the biggest we've had yet, as 159 players came out. That means that just like this morning's $85 flight, the final 16 players will be punching a ticket to the Day 2 finals tomorrow.

The final Day 1 starting session is in full swing. The buy-in is $85, and registration will be open until 7 PM!

Two $400 Day 2 Satellites Coming Up

The buy-in for both will be $400, and tonight's satellite at 7:30 PM will be guaranteeing three $1,900 seats, while tomorrow's at 11:30 AM will have a turbo structure with at least one seat guaranteed.

You can view the structure for these satellites here.

Former Legends of Poker Champion in the Morning Flight

We spotted a very familiar face to the Bicycle Casino here in the morning flight today, none other than former Legends of Poker Main Event Champion Harry Arutyunyan! He defeated another local player, Massoud Eskandari, to win over $550,000 in 2014. He is back here today, and building up a big chip stack early in his quest for another major final table here at the Bike!
