Over in today's $240 bounty event, the registration period just hit it's halfway point, and so far, exactly 150 players have entered. Registration will remain open tonight until 7 PM. Don't forget that every player in the event has a $100 bounty on their heads, so all you have to do to lock up a profit is knock out three players!

The $200,000 Guaranteed Finals isn't the only poker being played today. The $240 event with $100 bounties has just kicked off here in the tournament room. Registration will be open for the next three hours, and re-entry is allowed in that time frame as well.

Everyone still in has earned a min cash of at least $440. The blinds are currently 2,000-4,000, with an average stack of 205,000.

Three Former WPT Champions in the Day 2 Buy-ins

The list of Day 2 buy-ins continues to grow as registration is nearly closed, and in the latest round of entries, we saw plenty of poker royalty. Three former WPT Champions, including Legends of Poker Champions Josh Hale and Mike Shariati, have brought in today, as well as Mohsin Charania, who added a WSOP bracelet to his already stacked poker resume this summer. David "the Dragon" Pham did the same, winning one of the first events at this year's WSOP.

We are just one level into the Day 2 return here in the $200,000 Guaranteed Event, and the clock says 102 Day 2 buy-ins. That number will be going up over the next hour, meaning the prizepool should cross the $400,000 mark when the dust settles.
