By the Numbers: Biggest Flight of the $500,000 Guaranteed Event

We expected a big number for the tenth and final flight of this $500,000 Guaranteed Event, and you guys sure didn't disappoint, as we saw a tournament 337 entries. That means that the top 34 players will be moving on to tomorrow's finals, to join all the survivors so far, as well as the Day 2 buy-ins.

Going into tomorrow, the prizepool is already over $560,000, and that number will only be growing throughout the registration period tomorrow. Remember, the Day 2 buy-in is $1,750. Good luck everyone!

Just 60 Left in the Opening Flight

Tables are starting to be moved down to 9 handed as we have just 60 players remain. Only half of those players will be walking home happy today with $400 in cash and a ticket to tomorrow's finals.

Among those still alive in this flight are Phillip Penn, Derek Gregory, Jeff Yarchever, Andy Phan, Artak Babayan, Chester Burnett, Deepinder Singh, and Hermilo Vargas.

A Few Snapshots From Our Final Flight

Below you will see just a few of the players who are hoping to earn a last minute Day 2 ticket to the finals tomorrow in the final flight, which is nearly up to 300 total entries. Chris Grigorian is hoping for another big final table after chopping up the $500,000 Guaranteed Main Event at the Summer Series last month. We also spotted Sameer Aljanedi, who went deep in the $200,000 Guaranteed Event, taking home $2,165 for his 27th place finish.

What's on Tap: $500k Day 2 Finals and WPT Main Event Satellite

We have plenty of poker action coming up for you guys tomorrow! The headliner is the Day 2 finals of the $500,000 Guaranteed at 1 PM, where the Day 1 survivors and the Day 2 buy-ins of $1,750 will be battling it out for a first place prize that should be over $100,000. However, that's not the only poker being played tomorrow.

We start things off at 11:30 AM with a $240 Pot-Limit Omaha 8-or-Better Event. Registration for that tournament will be open for three hours.

At 4 PM, we have another Survivor Event for you guys. These events can almost be seen as satellites, as the top 10% of players will all be splitting up the prize pool evenly. Each player will be earning $3,000 in this version.

Speaking of satellites, we also have a big one tomorrow night for our $4,000 WPT Main Event. At 7:30 PM, we will have a $430 buy-in satellite, where at least two $4,000 seats will be handed out.

It will be an action packed day of poker, so make sure you don't miss it!

Over 200 Players On First Break of Final Flight

As expected, the final starting flight of this huge half million guaranteed event has drawn a big crowd so far, as 214 players have already entered. Registration will remain open until 7 PM, so there's a chance that the tenth and final flight will end up being the biggest.

Don't forget that we still have the Day 2 buy-in tomorrow of $1,750. We will also running be one table satellites all night long to help players get a shot at that buy-in for a discounted rate!

Some Details on the Day 2 Buy-in Tomorrow

Tomorrow is the most eagerly anticipated day of the 2017 Legends of Poker so far, as it will be the Day 2 finals of the massive $500,000 Guaranteed Event. The final Day 1 flights are playing out right now, but you will still have a chance to play tomorrow if you aren't able to make it through one of our starting sessions.

The finals start at 1 PM tomorrow, and until 2:40 PM you will be able to buy-in directly for $1,750. You will be giving 200,000 in chips, and with the blinds coming back at just 1,500-3,000, you will have an average stack of 67 big blinds. All levels tomorrow will be 45 minutes, and you can view the whole structure here.

Final Starting Flight Now Underway

The tenth and final flight of this massive $500,000 Guaranteed Event is starting up now ladies and gentlemen! We will be crossing the posted guarantee early on in this flight, and with the Day 2 buy-ins still to come tomorrow, the prizepool should easily exceed $650,000.

The buy-in is just $240, and registration will be open until 7 PM. Good luck everyone!

It was another big turnout for the first flight of the day, as 293 players entered. That means that 29 more players will be moving on to tomorrow's finals. The final session of the event will be starting up at 4 PM. Good luck everyone.

Halfway Through Registration in This Morning's Flight

Today is the final day of qualifying, and we are off to a fast start as expected in the opening fight of the day, as just under 200 players have registered so far. Registration will be open for three more levels, and one more break, or until about 2:30 PM today.

If you can't make it out that early, the final Day 1 qualifying session will be starting at 4 PM.

Final Day of $500,000 Guaranteed Qualifying Has Started

The end is near in this massive $500,000 Guaranteed Legends of Poker tournament. Just two more Day 1 qualifying sessions remain, and the first of those two has just started up here in the tournament ballroom.
