By the Numbers: Final Flight of the Day

The third and final starting session here at the Bike today drew a total of 256 players, meaning the top 26 players will be cashing, with 13 of them moving on to the Day 2 finals.

Be sure to come back tomorrow for an updated list of Day 2 survivors, and don't forget that you will have three more chances to qualify tomorrow, the penultimate day of Mega Millions qualifying!

1-13th. $1,000 + Advance to Day 2
14-20th. $400

The Bubble Has Burst in the Opening Flight

After a few hands of hand-for-hand play, the bubble has burst in the opening flight of the day. The 28 remaining players have all locked up $300, but the goal for all of them is to make the top 14 spots to get one of those precious Day 2 tickets.


What's on Tap: Sunday, August 20th

Tomorrow's schedule is a carbon copy of today's with three more Mega Millions starting flights. The $160 flights will be starting up at 11:30 AM and 4 PM, while the $550 session will be starting up at 2 PM.

For all three flights, registration will be open for three hours. Time is running out to qualify for this massive event, so be sure you don't miss out!

Final Session Back From First Break

The 167 players who have entered into the 4 PM session today are back and in their seats after returning from the first break. They will play three more levels before taking another break, and registration will be closed at that point, around 7 PM tonight.

The action rolls on tomorrow with three more starting flights, so come on down and join us them to try and get a late Day 2 ticket to the Mega Millions finals on Tuesday!

By the Numbers: Saturday Afternoon $550 Flight

Today's afternoon $550 starting session drew a big crowd with a total of 204 entries. That means that the top 20 players from that flight will all be taking home $1,000, and will know that they have secured a finals ticket to the biggest show in town on Tuesday.

Registration is still open in our late 4 PM flight, and we also have another $550 session tomorrow at 2 PM!

Final Session of the Day Now Underway

The third and final starting flight on this Saturday has just kicked off in the tournament room here at the Bike! The buy-in for this flight is back to $160, and as always, players will have an optional $100 add-on. They will also be able to re-enter if they are knocked out during the registration period, which officially closes at 7 PM tonight.

First Break of the $550 Session

It's another big weekend turnout here at the Bike for the $550 session today, as we already have over 140 entries on the first break. Registration will remain open in this flight until 5 PM today. Remember that in these flights, the top 10% will be cashing AND moving on to the Day 2 finals.

If you can't come out today, the next $550 session will be tomorrow at 2 PM.

The opening flight today drew a total of 283 players, meaning that 14 more Day 2 tickets will be handed out at the end of play in this flight.

The $550 session is currently in full swing, and the final starting session of the day starts up at 4 PM today. Good luck everyone!

Time for Another $550 Session

We are moving right along here with another $550 starting session here on this Saturday. Players are starting with 25,000 in chips in this one, and the top 10% will be cashing for $1,000 even and moving on to the Day 2 finals on Sunday.

Don't forget that if you've already qualified once, you can come back and try to double qualify. If you do that, you will earn $3,600! Good luck all!

Halfway Through Registration in Our Opening Flight

The first flight of the day is on it's first break, and so far, 190 players have entered. The registration doors will remain open until 2:30 PM today. Remember that in these flights, the top 10% are cashing, but only the final 5% are moving on to the finals in a few days to battle it out for the over $250,000 first place prize!

Cards in the Air: Opening Flight of the Day

We are starting to see the light at the end of the qualifying tunnel, as the first flight of this final Saturday of qualifying is now underway. The buy-in for this flight is just $160, with everyone having one optional $100 add-on. Registration and re-entry will be available today until 2:30 PM.

We have two more flights starting up later today. First, a $550 session at 2 PM today, then we wrap things up with a 4 PM flight that goes back to the $160 level.
