Local Player Osmin Dardon Leads Coming Back From Dinner

The 135 players who made the dinner break of this Main Event have returned to their seats, and the cards are back in the air. According to the hard working folks over at the WPT Live Updates team, a familiar face to the Bicycle Casino is in the chip lead, Osmin Dardon. He has 610,500, with no one else over the half million mark.

Some other local players with big stacks are David "ODB" Baker, Adam Geyer, Valentin Vornicu, and James Cavanaugh. Play will continue for three more levels, or until we get down to the final 90 players, whichever comes first.

By the Numbers: $1,100 Turbo Event

The second $1,100 Turbo Event in as many days more than doubled the field from yesterday, as a total of 53 entries came out. The final six players will be getting paid, with first place good for just under $20,000. Look down for a full breakdown of the payouts, and good luck to the 32 players who are still in!

By the Numbers: Final Big HORSE Flight

The fifth and final Big HORSE flight drew a total of 73 players, meaning that the top 11 players will be joining the 37 players who have already moved on to the finals. Remember that even if you haven't qualified yet, you still have a chance to get in on the action with the Day 2 buy-in option of $1,700. The finals will be starting at 2 PM, but registration will be open for over four hours, so you have plenty of time to come on down and play some mixed games with us!

Some Details on Tomorrow's Big HORSE Day 2 Buy-In

We have another major guaranteed Day 2 buy-in tomorrow here at the Legends of Poker, but for the first time this series, it won't be for a No-Limit Hold'em tournament. Instead, it's our $100,000 Guaranteed Big HORSE Event, where the Omaha portion is being playing as Limit Big "O". The buy-in tomorrow will be $1,700, and that will earn you an average stack of 100,000, with play resuming at the 1,000-2,000 blind level.

Registration for this Day 2 buy-in will be open through the first four levels, or until about 6:30 PM, and players will have the option to re-enter once in that time frame. You can click here for a full structure seat for the big Day 2.

The action starts up at 2 PM, so make sure you don't miss out on it!

It's time to kick off another $1,100 Turbo Event here at the Legends of Poker. Yesterday's Turbo Event drew 25 players, but today's will surely be bigger, as we already have 19 registered with cards just now hitting the air. Registration will be open until 5:30 PM today. Good luck everyone!

By the Numbers: Final Payouts for the 2017 Legends of Poker Main Event

After three days of starting sessions, and a handful of entries at the start of Day 2 today, the 2017 Legends of Poker drew a total field of 763 players, making for the second biggest LOP Main Event ever. The final 81 players will finish in the money, all locking up at least $7,135. Everyone at the televised final table will take home at least $91,825, and the first place prize will be good for $653,692. Cards in the Air: Final Day 1 Flight of the Big HORSE Event

It's time to kick off the final starting flight of our $100,000 Guaranteed Big HORSE Event. Over the last four days, 37 players have managed to move on to tomorrow's Day 2 finals. Today is your last chance to add your name to that list. The buy-in today will be $350, and the top 15% will be moving on to the finals, where first place should be worth more than $20,000!

Day 2 of the Legends of Poker Main is Now Underway

Registration is officially closed for the 2017 Legends of Poker Main Event, as the cards have just hit the air in this Day 2. The final numbers will be posted shortly. We will be playing seven 90-minute levels today, and action will be wrapping up just after midnight tonight. There will be a 60-minute dinner break at 6:30 PM today.

Cody Slaubaugh bagged the chip lead last night, with Mel Wiener just a few thousand behind him.

Cody Slaubaugh Bags the Overall Chip Lead

The biggest Day 1 of the Legends of Poker produced the biggest stack coming back to Day 2, as Cody Slaubaugh put 310,500 in the bag. Not far behind him, Mel Weiener will take 307,100 into play tomorrow. These are the only two players who will be over 300,000.

Day 2 will be starting up tomorrow at 12 PM. The plan is to play seven 90-minute levels. Be sure to come back here for updates from some of the locals who are hoping they can keep the Legends of Poker title in house!
