Cards in the Air: Event #19 $30,000 Guaranteed Event

It's time for another non-ring event here at the latest WSOP circuit stop. This event has a $30,000 Guarantee, and unique structure with no antes at the table. Instead, there will be an additional small blind paid by the button to help cover the antes.

Congratulations to Matthew Elsby, Winner of Event #6

Matthew Elsby came into play today with a slight chip disadvantage, and the gap grew in the early stages today, as Elsby was down at one point to under 300,000. But he was able to score a double up, and he carried the momentum from there to earn his first WSOP Circuit Ring. This adds to his WSOP hardware, as Elsby took down the $3,000 Limit Six Max Event in 2015 for over $230,000.

Congratulations Matthew!

First Break of the Six Max Event

We are two hours into play in today's Six Handed Event, and the clock says exactly 150 players registered so far. Players can enter and re-enter up until 4 PM today, so you still have plenty of time to brave the Friday afternoon traffic and come play some short handed poker!

Just Two Players Coming Back in Event #6

The sixth ring event is down to just two players coming back today: Matthew Elsby and Miki Murzi. Mruzi bagged a lead of 900,000 to 600,000 but with the blinds only 6,000-12,000 coming back, Elsby still has plenty of time to mount a comeback. Stay tuned to find out who comes out on top!

Matthew Elsby - 600,000

Miki Murzi - 900,000

Cards in the Air: $365 Six Handed Event

For players who prefer a bit more leg room at the table, this tournament is for you. The buy-in is $365, and there will be six players at each table.

Registration is open until 4 PM today. Good luck all!
