Final Break of the Evening

Players were just sent on their last break of the night. Registration will be closed once the cards are back in the air. At the moment, we have 385 entries. Stay tuned to find out who bags the chip lead tonight, as we look forward to Day 2 tomorrow at 12 PM!

Some of the Big Stacks in the Six Figure Club

Below you guys will see some of the players who have built up big stacks just before the final break of the evening. Some of these big stacks are locals: Nipun Java, Gal Yifrach, and Dan Heimiller. We also have former Pokernews presenter Kristy Arnett. All of these players are around or above the 100,000 mark. Stay tuned to find out if they are able to put their big stacks in the bag.

Main Event Prizepool Now Over $1 Million

We have 374 players so far on this second day, pushing the total to 677 and counting. That means that the prizepool is currently in the seven figure club, with over $1 million in the prizepool. Registration will be open until 9:30 PM tonight, and will re open for players who want to buy-in tomorrow before Day 2 is underway.

What's on Tap: $3,250 High Roller Event

Tomorrow is Day 2 of the Main Event, but if you aren't able to make it through to that, you will still have a big event you can play. At 2 PM, we have the $3,250 High Roller Ring Event. Last December, Andrew Wisdom finished on top of a 71 person field to earn $72,420.

Registration will be open until the start of Day 2. At that point, a starting stack will be worth ten big blinds. In addition to the High Roller Event, we will have another flight of the $100,000 Guaranteed HORSE Event at 1 PM, with a buy-in of $240.

Dinner Time in the Main Event

Players are now taking their 60 minute dinner break here on the second Day 1 of the WSOP Circuit Main Event. The clock says 357 players entered, and that number will only be growing after dinner, as registration will still be open until about 9:30 PM.

Cards will be back in the air in an hour. Enjoy the buffet players!

Cards in the Air: $325 Survivor Event

Yesterday, we had a $1,100 Survivor Event that saw six players walk home with $10,000. Today, the buy-in is $325, and the top 10% will be taking home $3,250. If players would like, they could parlay those winnings into the High Roller Event that is taking place tomorrow at 2 PM.

Registration for this survivor event will be open until 7 PM tonight. Good luck all!

By the Numbers: Second $100,000 Guaranteed HORSE Flight

Over in the HORSE Event, registration has closed with 51 players. The final eight will be moving on to the finals later this week, and will also take home $450.

Your next change to play in this HORSE Event will be tomorrow at 1 PM, but the buy-in will be lowered to $240, and only the top 10% will be advancing as opposed to the top 15%. Good luck players!

1-8th. Advance to Day 2 + $450

Second Break of the Day in the Main Event

Players are currently stretching their legs on the second 10-minute break of the day. We are just about to pass the total number of yesterday with 297 players currently entered, and registration is still open for more than five hours.

After three more levels, players will be sent on a one hour dinner break.

Three Former Mega Millions Winners in the Field Today

We went through the field and spotted a few former Mega Millions winners in the field. Duey Duong won one of third installment, while more recent winners Daniel Strelitz and Mike Shariati are also here.

This also serves as a reminder that the 18th installment of the Mega Millions will be starting up on Friday, so make sure you don't miss it!

Over 200 Players On First Break Today

We are two hours into play in this second Main Event flight, and the 225 players entered are taking their first break of the day. With the 303 players from yesterday, the prizepool is already up to nearly $800,000.

Registration is open until the end of Level 12 tonight (~9:30 PM) so there's a good chance the prizepool gets to over a million before the dust settles!

Some Early Snapshots From the Main Event

Below you guys will see a few of the players who are here for the early levels of the second Main Event flight. Included on this list is Ryan Buckholtz, who has one ring and three final tables at this series so far. We also spotted Massoud Eskandari, who chopped the So Cal Poker Championship in December of 2016 for nearly $300,000.
