Congratulations to Harry Arutyunyan, Winner of the $100,000 Guaranteed Event

Things just wrapped up over in the $100,000 Guaranteed Event, and it was a familiar face in the winners circle! Savenko Yevmenii busted in third place, and heads up play didn't last too long, as Peter Hengsakul bowed out in second place. That leaves the former Legends of Poker Main Event winner Harry Arutyunyan as the winner! He will take home over $36,000 for his efforts, and add another ring to his already stacked poker resume.

Congratulations to all of the final tablists, and to Harry Arutyunyan on another big victory!

Just Three Remain in the $100,000 Guaranteed Final Table

Over at the $100,000 Guaranteed final table, we lost Toko Zau in 5th place, and David Leese in 4th place, leaving us with just three players now. Former Legends of Poker winner Harry Arutyunyan still has the chip lead with 2,900,000, and he is up against Peter Hengsakul (2,100,000), and Savenko Yevmenii (640,000).

Stay tuned to find out who takes it down!

Nearly 200 Players on Second Break of the Main Today

Players are taking their second breather of the day in the first Main Event flight, and we have 195 players and rising there. Players will play three more levels before the famous shrimp tower is busted out for the dinner buffet tonight! Registration is open for six more hours, so you still have time to come join us!

Arutyunyan Holds Big Lead with Five Left in $100,000 Guaranteed

There were seven players remaining in today's $100,000 Guaranteed final table when we went over to grab chip counts, and in the time it took to get those counts, two more players were eliminated. First, Peter Hengsakul won a classic coin flip, when his pocket sevens held against the Ace-King of Leo Araneta.

On the very next hand, Victory Shalom was in great shape to double up with pocket aces against the pocket tens of Toko Zau, but a ten came right on the flop, and Shalom hit the rail in sixth. Here is now the final five stack up, with the blinds about to go to 20,000-40,000

Harry Arutyunyan - 2,450,000
Peter Hengsakul - 1,450,000
Savenko Yevmenii - 670,000
Toko Zau - 640,000
David Leese - 515,000
