Charania Scores Big Double Near the Bubble
We just saw a tangle between two notable big stacks near the money bubble that has seen two time WPT Champion Mohsin Charania catapult into one of the chip leaders. Charania was heads up with former WSOP Colossus winner Cord Garcia, on a board reading [Qd][10d][5s][Kh].
Garcia was first to act, and he moved all in, having Charania covered. It was a massive bet of 740,000 effective, more that double what was in the middle already. Charania thought for about a minute before calling with [Kc][Qc], and he would have some outs to fade, as Garcia rolled over [7d][4d] for a flush draw.
The river was red, but it was the [3h], and Charania scored a massive double up to nearly 1.8 million, while Garcia is still doing ok with over 400,000.

Lu had [9h][6d], but she was disappointed to see that she was drawing dead against the [10s][7d] of Tamero. A nine came on the river, and Lu wished both players luck before heading to the rail.
This leaves us heads up, with Tamero holding a massive lead: 85 million to the 17 million of Ibrahim Naim.

Ibrahim Naim Takes Lead on Final Hand of the Night
After nearly two hours of 10 handed play, we finally lost Donald Forshey in 10th place. He moved all in or just under 10 million preflop holding Ace-King, and he was racing against the pocket jacks of Ibrahim Naim. The jacks would hold up, and the entire table had a tired celebration when the final card was play.
Below you will see how the final nine currently stack up. They will return at 2 PM tomorrow to play on the Live at the Bike stage. Be sure to come back then for all of the updates, as we will crown the next Quantum Millions Event winner!

Hero Call Leads to Big Double for Tamero
There is already a sea of pink 100,000 chips in the middle on a completed board showing [Js][7s][Qh][6s][10d] when Martin Tamero fires out 1.4 million. The bet is for about half the pot, but Ibrahim Naim wants to play for more, as he moves all in, having Tamero covered.
Tamero thinks for quite some time, first looking like he is going to call, then looking like he is going to fold. He counts out his chips a couple of times, and then says "ok good luck guys," as he tosses a few chips in the for call.
"Good call," Naim says, as he rolls over [Ah][3s] for ace high. Tamero shoots out of his chair and tables...[7d][3c], good for fourth pair on board, and enough to take down a huge pot.
Tamero doubles into second place with 15 million, while Naim drops down to 11,800,000.

Lu Spikes Turn to Double
Three players see a flop of [7d][5s][4c] come down. Ibrahim Naim bet one million, and Martin Tamero reraised to 2.5 million. It was on Qing Lu now, who went deep into the tank. She thought for about two minutes, counting her stack out a few times, before moving all in for about four million. Naim moved all in over the top, Tamero folded, and the cards were on their backs.
Lu: [10h][7c]
Naim: [Qs][Qd]
Lu had flopped top pair, but she was well behind the ladies of Naim. That all changed though when the [10s] hit the turn, drawing a celebration from Lu. The hand wasn't over yet, but an ace on the river did seal it.
Tamero shook his head, saying that he folded Ace-Seven, and would have won the hand had he stayed. As is though, Lu nearly triples up to over ten million, while Naim drops down to about 13 million.
