We are down to just 45 players now in today's $500,000 Guaranteed finals, which means the bigger payout are around the corner. Starting now, we will list off the name of every player eliminated, grouped together by pay jump. Below you will see how some of the notables still in the field are faring. This includes Said El Harrak, who is double average after two straight knockouts, and is looking for back to back titles after winning the $100,000 Guaranteed Event last week.

By the Numbers: $550 Survivor Event

Over on the other side of the tournament ball room, the $550 Survivor Event drew a crowd of 99 players. That means that the top nine will all take home $5,000, while tenth place will receive just less than that, $4,500.

The Money Bubble is Here

The clock says 94 players remaining, meaning that the money bubble has almost arrived. Four of these remaining players will walk away empty handed, while the remaining 90 will be $665 richer.

Once we have reached the money, we will post another round of notable chip counts.

Nearing the Halfway Point Today

Players in the $500,000 Guaranteed Event have just returned from their third break of the day, meaning we have played six levels today. A starting field of 299 is now down to just 130, but we still have some work to do to get into the money, as only the top 90 will be getting there.

Cards in the Air: $550 Survivor Event

We are ready to get going with the final event on the schedule for the 2019 Summer Poker Series. This event has a buy-in of $550, and will be using the Survivor format, where the top 10% will all be taking home $5,000 each, regardless of how many chips they have at that time.

Registration Closes With Over 100 Day 2 Entries

Players have returned to their seats, and the cards are back in the air, which means registration has officially closed for today's finals. According to the clock, we had 107 total Day 2 entries, pushing the final overall prizepool up to nearly $600,000!

We will post the official numbers when we get them from the floor, and will also put up our first round of notable counts shortly.
