Kathleen Solowitz With a Wall of Chips on the Bubble




A quick scan of the remaining players showed that one player in particular has separated from the rest of the pack as the money bubble is about to start, and it's a familiar face to the Bicycle Casino. Kathleen Solowitz has amassed a few towers of chips that looks to be roughly about 1.7 million, which is more than triple the current average stack.

The clock says 56 players remaining, meaning that we are just two eliminations from the money now. Once we lose one more player, we will begin hand for hand play until we lose one more player. When that happens, all 54 players remaining will have locked up $860.

The First Main Event Mega Satellite Has Started

Today is the first of four days in a row here at the Legends of Poker where we will be running a juice free $500 satellite for our upcoming WPT Main Event. At least three discounted Main Event seats are guaranteed in tonight's satellite, which will be open until 9 PM tonight.

What's Coming Up: Friday, August 2nd

The poker action rolls on tomorrow with two more events starting up at 11:30 AM and 5 PM. First, we have a $50,000 Guaranteed Event to start the day. The buy-in for that event will be $365, and players will be starting with a whopping 50,000 in chips.

Registration for that event will be open until 3:30 PM, and 90 minutes later, we will be having a $370 buy-in juice free Survivor event! The top 10% of finishers in that event will take home either a $3,700 ticket for the Mega Millions finals later this month, or $3,300 in cash, whichever the player prefers.

It will be another fun day of poker action here at the Legends of Poker, so don't miss out on it!

Over on the other side of the room, we have 72 players and counting in the Survivor Event, which means that at the moment, the top seven players will all be taking home $3,000 in cash. That number will be going up until registration officially closes at 8 PM, so you still have time to come on down and join us!
