Play Ends In the Morning Flight With Magic Tran Leading the Final 18

It took over 15 hands of hand for hand play for us to get down to the final two tables. A few players were vying for the chip lead at the end, but on the last hand of the night, Magic Tran scooped a massive pot with pocket aces, knockout out the bubble boy, while also securing a double up through the other stack.  He bagged up 514,500, while the next closest player, Huy Nguyen, has 338,500.

Former WSOP bracelet winner David Brookshire, and two time WSOP Circuit ring winner Hermilo Vargas, also advanced with short stacks.

The second flight today drew a crowd of 141 players, meaning that 17 more Day 2 tickets will be punched from this afternoon's flight. Your final chances to qualify through one of these $360 starting sessions are tomorrow at 11:30 AM and 4 PM, so make sure you don't miss out on the action then!

What's Coming Up: Final Day of $300,000 Guaranteed Qualifying

Tomorrow is your last chance to make it to the Day 2 finals of this event through one of our $360 buy-in Day 1 sessions. Just like today, the flights will be starting up at 11:30 AM, and 4 PM, and will have registration open for four hours in each.

Remember that if you aren't able to qualify through one of these Day 1 sessions, you can still buy-in directly during the first two levels of the finals on Friday for $2,100.

Just One Table Away From the Money Now

The morning flight is now down to it's final 27 players, meaning that once we lose nine more players, that session will be in the books. Still alive and vying for one of those tickets, plus the $600 cash, are Hermilo Vargas, Ophir Atar, Paul Frank, Phuoc Nguyen, David Brookshire, and Huy Nguyen.

Prizepool Update: Halfway to the Guarantee

The afternoon flight is just about to start up again after their first break of the day, and so far, we have a field of 95 players. That puts the overall prizepool at just over $150,000, meaning we are more halfway to the guarantee. Registration for this flight is still open until 8 PM today, and we still have the final two flights tomorrow, as well as the Day 2 buy-ins on Friday that should easily shoot us past another guaranteed here at the 2019 Legends of Poker.

We just took a walk through the $300,000 Guaranteed morning flight, which is now up to nearly 130 players, and spotted more than a few familiar faces. Gladys Landegger is third right now in the Player of the Series standings, and has already secured a $5,000 WPT Main Event seat through out satellites. Over 100 Players on First Break Today

The first flight of the day here on this Legends of Poker Wednesday has seen 105 players come out. Those players are taking their first break of the day. Registration for this flight will be open for two more hours, and the second flight of the day starts at 4 PM.

Cards in the Air: Wednesday Morning $300k Flight

The second day of $300,000 Guaranteed qualifying has just started up here at the tournament ballroom. Yesterday saw 31 players punch their tickets to Friday's finals, and a new crop of players will be here to try and qualifying today. Registration for this opening flight will be open until 3:30 PM, and the second flight of the day will be starting up at 4 PM.
