The Morning Mega Millions Flight is In the Money

We were sitting on 21 players for quite some time in the morning Mega Millions flight, but after two rapid fire eliminations, we have now reached the money. It's a stacked final 19 that includes the likes of Dylan Herrmann, Prince Cassell, Aaron Messmer, Marcel Sabag, and Mike Shariati, who is hoping to become the first two time champion of this event.

Be sure to come back in the morning for the latest updated return list to see if these players are able to make it to the final 10 tonight!

By the Numbers: Tuesday Afternoon Flight

The second Mega Millions flight of the day saw a total of 130 players come out to play. The final 16 will be locking up $500, but only the top eight will be punching tickets to next week's finals!

What's Coming Up: Wednesday, August 21st

The poker action resumes tomorrow with two more Mega Millions flights, as well as the third flight of the $100,000 Guaranteed HORSE Event. The Mega Millions sessions will be kicking off at 11:30 AM and 4 PM, with three hours of registration available in each flight.

At 2 PM, we switch the games over to Stud 8 and Omaha 8 or Better, for the third $100,000 Guaranteed flight. Registration in that flight will be available until 4:10 PM, and the top 12% will be punching their tickets to the Day 2 finals.

Quoc Le maintains his lead in the Player of the Series Race. You can view the entire list by clicking here. Remember that the $15,000 freeroll will take place on Saturday the 24th at 11 AM, where the top three players will all earn seats to the WPT Main Event! 

First Break of the Afternoon Flight

We are halfway through the registration period in the afternoon Mega Millions flight, and the clock says 75 players entered so far. Players will have until 7 PM to come on down and join us for this $160 flight today. Good luck everyone!

We are down to just 40 players in the opening Mega Millions flight, which means that nearly half of the field remaining will be cashing, while the other 21 will be walking home empty handed. Below you will see some of the notables who are still alive and vying for one of the 10 Day 2 tickets that will be given out at the end of this flight.

By the Numbers: $100,000 Guaranteed Omaha 8 Flight

The second flight in our $100,000 Guaranteed Event saw a field of 69 players come out for the Limit Omaha 8-or-Better session. The final table of eight players will all be cashing for $600, but more importantly, will be moving on to next week's finals.

Tomorrow players will be playing both Stud 8 and Omaha 8, and just like today, the $350 flight will be starting up at 2 PM.

Cards in the Air: 4 PM Mega Millions Flight

The second starting session of the day has just kicked off here in the tournament ballroom. Just like this morning, the buy-in is $160, with an optional $100 add-on. Registration will be open tonight until 7 PM, and the top 6% will be advancing to the finals.

The first flight of the day saw 161 players come out to play. That means the final 19 players will be making the money tonight, with the top 10 punching the latest tickets to the Day 2 finals next week.

The second flight of the day will be starting up at 4 PM today. Make sure you don't miss out on it!

Yesterday saw the first nine players punch their tickets to the Day 2 finals of the $100,000 Guaranteed HORSE Event. Today, we are switching the game to just Limit Omaha 8-or-Better. Registration for this flight will be open until 4:10 PM today, and the buy-in is $350.

Time to Start Another Day of Mega Millions Qualifying

We are ready to get things going with the latest Mega Millions qualifying heat! You know the drill by now. This is the first of two $160 starting flights today, where the top 12% will be cashing, but only the final 6% will be earning those coveted Day 2 finals tickets.

Registration for this flight will be open until 2:30 PM, with the second flight today starting at 4 PM. All players have an optional $100 add-on for 8,000 more chips. Good luck everyone!

Yesterday saw the first nine players punch their tickets to the Day 2 finals. Leading the way by a good margin is Usmaan Mela, who bagged up 514,000.
