What's Coming Up: Tuesday, October 15th

We have more Hold'em and Mixed Games for you guys tomorrow, as the final full week of Big Poker Oktober continues. We kick things off at 11:30 AM with a $350 buy-in $30,000 Guaranteed Deepstack Event. Players will be starting with 30,000 in chips, and registration will be available until 3:30 PM in that event.

After that, we will be adding two more cards to the player's hands, as the $250 buy-in Pot-Limit Omaha 8 or Better Event will be starting up at 2 PM. Registration for that event will be open for three hours, closing at around 5 PM.

Of course, we wrap things up with our nightly $330 juice free satellite, and it will be the final time of the series that we run that at 8 PM. After that, it will be multi table satellite for the Main Event!

First Break of the Survivor Event

Today's Survivor Event is two hours in, which means it's the for the 77 players registered to take their first break of the day. With just three more entries, the top eight would be taking home $2,000, but of course, that number will be going up until registration closes at 8 PM.

Tonight at 6 PM, our tournament director Mo Fathipour will be on our popular in house online show, Live at the Bike! He will be sitting down for an interview, where you can learn all about Fathipour's life before came to the Bicycle Casino. He will also be talking about a few brand new tournament concepts that he will be unveiling here at the Bicycle Casino in the near future!

Cards in the Air: Monday Afternoon Survivor Event

We are ready to get things going in today's Survivor Event. Yesterday's $565 buy-in Survivor Event saw a great turnout of 96 players, meaning that the final table of nine players all took home a nice payday of $5,000. 

Registration in this Survivor Event will be open until 8 PM tonight, and players can also re-enter in that time. 

By the Numbers: $20,000 Guaranteed HORSE Event

Today's HORSE Event saw a crowd of 69 players come out, creating a prizepool of $20,700. The final eight players will be finishing in the money today, with first place taking home $7,045. Scroll down for all of the payouts, and stay tuned for more updates from this Mixed Game Event!

The $230 Survivor Event Starts Shortly

The second event of the day is starting up at the top of the hour, and we have all the details of it here for you guys. This Survivor Event has a buy-in of $230, meaning that the top 10% of the field will all be taking home $2,000 in cash, regardless of their chip counts when we reach that point.

Registration will be available until 8 PM, so you have plenty of time to come down and try to 10x your buy-in!

We are ready to switch back to Mixed Games here at the Big Poker Oktober, as the HORSE specialists will be coming down to the Bike today. This $350 buy-in event has a guarantee of $20,000, and will have registration open until just before 2:30 PM.

Play Ends With William Bannon Just Under Five Million

It is just before midnight local time, and the final 28 players have been determined. The floor staff is currently in the process of collecting everyone's names and chip counts, bu we can pass along a few notable counts to you guys right now. William Bannon has bagged the chip lead, finishing with a big stack of 4,985,000. Table mate Thomas Reeves is the only other player over four million by our early estimations.

Some notables who will be joining us at Ocean's 11 Casino in two weeks include Samy Alirachedi (2,910,000), Nick Phoenix (2,170,000), Ophir Atar (1,975,000), and Nicholas Grippo (1,010,000).
