Peter Chu Leads, Bike Regular Bruce Kramer Right Behind Him

Big Stack Bruce Kramer

Play has wrapped up in the second flight of the $1,100 Main Event, and we have a few players who bagged more chips than Daniel Mijac did yesterday. Peter Chu leads the way with 269,000, while Zaher Samaan and Bruce Kramer each bagged up a quarter of a million chips.

Some other familiar faces who punched their tickets today included Angelina Rich (170,000), Quoc Le (144,000), Ben Moon (113,500), Jisup Hwang (112,000), and Lawrence Ma.

Be sure to come back later to see the full list of Day 2 survivors so far, and don't forget that the final starting session is tomorrow at 11:30 AM.

By the Numbers: $570 Survivor Event

We had a great turnout in our Survivor Event, as a total of 95 came out to play. The final table of nine players will all lock up $4,000 and their $1,100 Main Event seat for tomorrow, while the player in 10th place will earn $2,550. Thank you to everyone who came out to play this afternoon's Survivor Event. Good luck to those still in!

1-9th. $4,000 + $1,100 Main Event Seat
10th. $2,550

What's Coming Up: Saturday, October 19th

Tomorrow we have the third and final starting session for this Cardplayer Tour Main Event, and just like today and yesterday, it will be starting up at 11:30 AM. This final flight is always the biggest, so make sure you don't miss out on the action.

At 4 PM, we will be offering a satellite for players who want to get in on the Day 2 buy-in action on a discount. We will have a $470 satellite guaranteeing at least three Day 2 seats, valued at $4,300. Click here for a full structure for that satellite.

We can't wait to see you guys tomorrow!

Bruce Kramer Leading With Five Tables Remaining

We have just broken another table here in the Main Event, which means we are officially down to the final 45 players. After ten more eliminations, we will be done for the day. At the moment, the chip leader is a familiar face to the Bike, Bruce Kramer. He has about 225,000, with no one else over the 200,000 marker at the moment.

Stay tuned to find out if Kramer is able to keep his chip lead, or if someone else passes him by the end of the night!

By the Numbers: Main Event Flight 1B

Registration has officially closed for the day in the Main Event, and the second flight ended up drawing 140 players. That means that the final 35 players will be advancing to the Day 2 finals on Sunday.

We are halfway to the guarantee, with tomorrow's flight, which will be the biggest of the three, and the Day 2 buy-ins on Sunday, still to come. We should easily be passing the $500,000 Guarantee on this event, so make sure you don't miss out on the action tomorrow!

1-35th. Advance to Day 2

First Break of the $570 Survivor Event

Over on the other side of the room, we are halfway through the registration period of our $570 Survivor Event. With three more entries, we will be up to seven full winners in this event. Remember that today, the winners will take home $4,000 in cash, as well as a $1,100 seat to tomorrow's Main Event flight.

Registration closes at 8 PM. Come join us!

Chow Time in the Main Event

Players are taking their 30 minute dinner break in the Main Event right now. Once they return, registration will officially be closed for the day. The clock says 138 entries, which means that at the moment, the top 35 players will be moving on to the Day 2 finals.

Stay tuned for more updates from today's Main Event flight!
