What's Coming Up: Monday, December 9th

The Main Event rolls on tomorrow, with the second $1,700 flight starting up at 12 PM, but that isn't the only poker being played. We have a few more satellites coming for you guys, including two satellites for the High Roller Event. We also have a $300 turbo satellite at 11 AM for the Main Event, with registration open until 1:10 PM.

The High Roller satellites will be at 4 and 8 PM, and the buy-in will be $500. Click here for the structure for those satellites, and good luck to everyone!

Dinner Time in the Main Event

We are nine levels into play today, which means it's time for the 60 minute dinner break. As you can see from the photos above, the players are about to enjoy a free buffet courtesy of the Bicycle Casino! You still have time to come on down and register for this flight, as we won't be closing the registration doors until 9:30 PM tonight.

Head on over to Pokernews.com for more live updates from this event after dinner break, and be sure to come back in the morning to see who advanced to the Day 2 finals from this flight!

Another Guarantee Met in the Main Event Satellite

Over in the 4 PM WSOPC satellite, we have reached 33 players in the field, which means another guarantee will be met! Registration will remain open until 6:10 PM, so there's a good chance that we get at least six discounted seats given out in that one.

Don't forget that we have one more satellite tonight at 8 PM, and there are even more satellites for the Main Event and High Roller ring event coming up tomorrow. Stay tuned for a post with more information on that!

Second Break of the Main Event

We are six levels into play today, which means it's time to take another break here at the Bike. We are now up to over 150 players entered in this first Main Event flight, and that number will steadily be increasing as the day moves on.

When players return, they will play three more levels before taking their one hour dinner break. Don't forget that the Bike is providing a free buffet for all registered players, so be sure to take advantage of that on your break!

Second Main Event Satellite Has Started

We are ready to get things rollin with another WSOP Circuit Main Event satellite here at the Bike! You guys know the drill but now. The buy-in for this satellite is $300, and at least five discounted seats to the Main Event will be handed out there. Registration will be available until 6:10 PM tonight, so you have plenty of time to come on down and join us here today.

If that is too early for you, our third and final Main Event satellite will be tonight at 8 PM, with registration open until 10:10 PM!

Special Announcement for Tuesday's High Roller Ring Event

The High Roller series might be going on this weekend in the Legend of Poker room, but that isn't the only big buy-in event we have coming for you guys. On Tuesday, we have our $3,250 High Roller ring event, and we have a special incentive for players who are here on time for the event. All players who registered anytime before the first two levels end, roughly 3:20 PM, will not have to pay the $250 entry fee. That will be covered by our tournament director Mo Fathipour!

You can view the full structure of the event above, and don't forget that we also have our second Main Event flight coming up tomorrow if you are unable to play today. The action is just heating up here at the Bike, so make sure you come on down to join us!

Some Snapshots From the Opening Main Event Flight

Below you will see a few players who are here for the Main Event, and all of them made deep runs in preliminary events here on this Circuit stop. Joo Park and Maxwell Young both final tabled the $1,125 event yesterday, while Andrew Wisdom just missed out on that final table, as well as the Monster Stack final table.

Scroll down for those photos, and a few more, as the Main Event rolls on.

First Break of the Main Event

Two hours have come and gone in the Main Event, and so far, we have 108 players registered so far. That number will be rising throughout the day, as registration won't be closing until about 9:30 PM tonight.

Don't forget that we also have two more $300 satellites coming up today at 4 and 8 PM, each guaranteeing five discounted Main Event seats.

Congratulations to Joe Matton, Winner of the $75,000 Guaranteed Event

Joe Matton - ring winner

We have a winner over in the $75,000 Guaranteed Event, and the ring is going home with Joe Matton! He came into the day second in chips, and held steady near the top throughout the day. He started heads up play with a bit of a deficit, but scored an early double up, and never looked back from there.

He will take home $22,775 for his efforts, along with the WSOP Circuit ring! Congratulations to him, and Eddy Bryant, who takes home $14,070 for his runner up finish.

Eddy Bryant - second place $14,070

Heads Up in the $75,000 Guaranteed Event

Sean Yu came into the day with a big chip lead in the $75,000 Guaranteed Event, but everything went wrong for him today, as he was the first player to bust out in 5th. Jason Hickey bowed out in 4th place, and Robert Kotecki just busted in third.

This leaves us heads up, with Joe Matton holding a very slight lead over Eddy Bryant. Stay tuned to find out who takes home the ring , and be on the lookout for more updates from the Main Event today!

Eddy Bryant - 1,600,000

Day 2 Return List for the $75,000 Guaranteed Event

Only five players have moved on to Day 2 of the $75,000 Guaranteed Event, and leading the way is a very familiar face. Sean Yu is a Bike regular, who is also no stranger to WSOP hardware. He has a bracelet to his name, along with seven WSOP Circuit rings. The latest ring came in March, when he took down the WSOP Circuit Main Event, taking home over $210,000.

He has a chance to add to his hardware at noon today, as he holds a big lead over the other four survivors. Scroll down for the full list of chip counts, and come back later to find out who takes down this event!
